Talk: The Psychology of Fetish and Kink with Ness Cooper

Clinical Sexologist and therapist Ness Cooper will look beyond the statics and explore the biosocial psychology behind kink and fetishes. Learn why power dynamics can occur within kink and BDSM and why individuals across the UK are fascinated by kink and fetishism within their relationships, whilst also discovering tips on how to practise these within your own relationships pleasurably.
With a unique opportunity to engage in an open and non-judgmental discussion of fetish and kink, where Ness Cooper will answer questions around erotic orientation and sexuality at the end to help you gain a deeper understanding about the psychology behind these practices.

Ness Cooper is a Clinical Sexologist and therapist with 15 years’ experience helping individuals, couples, and polyam groups find their authentic sexuality within her private practice. She has studied around the world learning from the leading specialists within the field of human sexuality including training with the Kinsey Institute for Human Sexuality and has an academic background in kink research and is a scholar in queer crip theory, and regularly writes for the press on intimate subjects within human sexuality including for Marie Claire. Ness is a trustee for Dhiverse, the sexual health charity, head of communications for Norwich Pride, and has consulted for over 500 companies and brands on sex and relationships. With a diverse background in knowledge on human sexuality she now shares her knowledge with others and teaches fellow practitioners of human sexuality and clinicians.
