On the first floor directly above the main bar, totally self-contained and comprising of the Main Studio, Studio bar, Ladies & Gents toilets, and Greenroom with en suite toilet.
These spaces were extensively refurbished in 2018, the main Studio is fully air-conditioned with humidity-monitored extract fans.

THE STUDIO FEES
Studio Rental: £250
Audio / Light Engineer: Price on application (estimate £25 per hour + vat)
Box Office/ Front of House Staff: £15 per hour, min 3 hours
Security Staff (2 x. Min 4 hours): £36ph
All fees subject to VAT at the current rate.

Open 10 am-midnight/1am. Not suitable for disabled access. Please note that the main bar opens at 4 pm midweek and at 12 pm at the weekend so events starting before these times must access via the large rear courtyard gates off Greville Road.
TICKETED EVENTS & MARKETING SUPPORT
FOR BOTH THE STUDIO & THE CHICKEN SHED
All bookings require the promoter to be responsible for promoting, selling, and managing all ticket sales. We are able to offer an in-house box office on the night of your event (charges apply).
The Hen & Chicken does not take any commission from ticket sales but may request a nominal allocation.
MARKETING SUPPORT
- Listing of your event on our “What’s On” web page.
- Display internally your posters up to 3 months ahead of an event.
- Link your event Facebook page to The Hen & Chicken Facebook page.
- Ticket links to the promoters ticket seller will be embedded on our website.
- Promoters have direct access to our dedicated Social Media Manager who will assist in the promotion of their event.
- The Hen & Chicken social media manager will manage Bristol listings on behalf of the promoter.
