| Sous Chef | The Hen & Chicken has a long established food trade, predominantly a grill style menu mixed with stone baked pizzas, using local suppliers & fresh ingredients; most dishes are made from scratch on the premises with the menu changing / evolving generically a few dishes at a time monthly.
As a privately owned company, we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to contribute to menu content design; there is no distant head office sending out edits on menu content and specs! The successful applicant will have a hands on role. Consistent quality, speed of service & good communication are essential. Our team is small but committed with a strong emphasis on self respect, respect of others and a good deal of humour and fun.
